Step Teachers are a preferred supplier for Teach in Herts; as a part of our ongoing success in building and retaining relationships with many schools and academy trusts in the area we are currently looking for a Nursery Teacher in Stevenage.

The role isa temporary, full time postion for one term, starting in January 2023.

This Early Years School aims to create a happy and safe environment for every child and provide them with the finest quality Early Years education.

Strong relationships between the children, the parents and school is also at the core of their values. Atthe most recent OFSTED inspection the school continues to be rated "GOOD".

Role:

Strong knowledge of the Nursery and Early Years curriculum
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school
Ability to monitor and report on the progress of your students
Able to plan and deliver engaging and varied lessons
Willingness to comply with the schools' policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

Hold QTS or an equivalent Early Years Teaching qualification
Recent mainstream schoolbased experience teaching in an Early Years setting
Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
Experience working with SEND is desirable
