We have an exciting new role within the Music Department at Stowe School to recruit for a Chapel Organist.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who has a music degree or similar professional qualification or is an Organist of ARCO standard or equivalent experience.

The role of Chapel Organist is to attend choir rehearsals and accompany school services.

You will play the organ, conduct and sing (if appropriate) at each service and assist the Director of Choral Music in the training of theory to singers, helping them learn their voice parts.

You will be expected to take part in any choir tours, broadcasts, concerts, recordings as part of the wider school music offering.

You will share in the administrative workload of the Music Department so good organisational and communication skills are a must.

You will be passionate and enthusiastic about Music and enjoy sharing your knowledge with others in the School environment.

Salary:
£12,000 per annum with accommodation
