Job description:
We're looking for a Communications Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team, as part of the Energy unit at Mott MacDonald.
You'll support the 'Marketing and Communications Manager - Energy' and our senior leaders on creating marketing and promotional material, including project case studies, thought leadership pieces, news articles, newsletters, award entries, reports, and proposals in brand.
You'll play a key role in telling our stories and landing our messaging to connect with our internal and external audiences in ever-more meaningful ways.
Our clients include government departments, local authorities, energy majors, utilities, private developers, and more.Key responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Support the 'Marketing and Communications Manager
- Energy' on the creation of promotional material and communications.
- Source and produce news items/success stories within the Energy unit for internal and external audiences.
- Work with project managers to produce compelling project case studies in brand.
- Work with senior leaders to create thought leadership content around industry hot topics.
- Support in monitoring feedback and reviewing metrics to measure the impact of our communications activities.
- Be a brand champion ensure all materials align with our brand guidelines and tone of voice.

- Excellent written communication skills ability to write clear, compelling copy for various mediums and audiences.
- Proactive and resourceful problemsolver ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
- Excellent verbal communication skills ability to confidently liaise with colleagues and teams from diverse backgrounds and sectors across the Group.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with SharePoint, Viva Engage, and LinkedIn would be an advantage.
