  • 1st Step Solutions are working on behalf of a National Leading Contractor who have an opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join their team. This is a full time office based position and you will need to be SC Cleared.
  • Purpose:
  • A Receptionist is required to supplement current admin staff. They will provide administrative support. The Receptionist would report to and work as directed by the Admin Services Manager. You will work as part of a 3 persons team working a shift pattern to cover early start and early finish. (Week 7am to 3.30pm & Week 9am to 5.30pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and greet high volume of visitors to the Joint Headquarters.
  • Identify where they are going/who they are visiting and direct them as necessary.
  • Call the host to come and escort the visitor if required.
  • Manage the conference room booking system (Condeco).
  • Set up meeting rooms to meet the customer's requirement.
  • Advise on the use of AVTE in the meeting rooms (training will be given).
  • Prepare refreshments for the customer in the meeting room if requested.
  • Clear away and tidy up each meeting room as required and prepare for next meeting.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks that may arise from time to time as required by you Line Manager.
  • To attend professional development training courses to improve and maintain best working practices relevant to the core skills required.
  • Requirement to attend Team Talks/Safety Stand ups/downs or any other associated meetings deemed necessary by the company or the client.

Requirements, Skills & Experience:

  • Required to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Co
- ordinates available resources to deal with the work in hand.

  • PC Literate.
  • Good customer liaison background.
  • Have work pride, ethos, positive attitude and the ability to preserve confidentiality.
  • Must be able to obtain SC level Security Clearance.

Desirable:

  • Experience of working on MODNet.
  • Office Administration background.
  • Experience of working with Military personnel and military protocol.
