Part of the Cox Automotive UK group, Movex provides a real-time, specialist business-to-business platform connecting used-vehicle transport demand with logistics supply.


Scope of the Role:


All customers are important and valued by Movex, and the team at Movex pride themselves on providing exceptional customer service.


The role holder will be responsible for offering the first line contact to customers, offering outstanding customer support; providing advice, support and resolution for customer queries and complaints and escalating when necessary; to aid with the smooth running of the business, whilst following the company's policies and procedures.


Objectives for the Role:


  • Meet and exceed operational KPI targets
  • Take personal responsibility for putting the customer first and providing a relentless and excellent customer service and experience.
  • To receive and log all calls/requests and allocate tasks to the appropriate person or department where necessary.
  • Take full endtoend ownership of incoming queries or issues and assist the customer/supplier to resolve these in a timely manner and to the customers satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective management of customer dissatisfaction, ensuring appropriate recording and resolution of complaints.
  • Be a continuous improvement champion and facilitate any queries and complaints to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate with customer and suppliers when listing/relisting aborts and cancellations of vehicle movements and ensure business levels are maximized within Movex.
  • Work collaboratively and cross functionally across the business to deliver efficiency improvements within the operations area.
  • Complete 100% of mandatory training
  • To understand and comply with company policies and procedures and take personal responsibility and accountability for following company procedure and policies.
  • Provide additional support as required from your line manager for project work or operational support.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:


  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent IT skills in Excel and word with the ability to analyse data
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with perseverance and professionalism
  • Be resourceful and selfconfident
  • Experience of working to deadlines and have effective time management skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently when required.
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility and teamworking skills.
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, solid organisational skills with a clear focus on delivering great user experiences
  • Previous experience in logístical planning/operations is desirable
