Responsible to:
Director of Training, Quality & Welfare


Hours 30 hours per week


Term:
Permanent position


Location:
Home Based with some in person work


Salary:
£24,875 FTE, Actual £19,900 plus 4% pension contributions


Annual leave:30 days plus 8 Bank Holidays

  • Please note all staff are currently _working from home, Going forward this role will be required to work flexibly both from home but with the requirement to also attend engagements, outreaches and visit partners across Rotherham & District._

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Advice provisions to help us meet and support increasing demand for our Advice and Help to Claim services in these challenging times.


We're looking for someone who:


  • At least one year's recent experience of working in a local Citizens Advice as a qualified adviser and an ability to switch easily between Adviceline and holistic advice
  • Has previous experience of overseeing and delivering advice in a local Citizens Advice
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrable leadership experience
  • Has worked with volunteers and is passionate about involving them
  • Is able to work independently & on own initiative
  • Has a professional, cando and positive attitude to achieving objectives
  • Is Flexible and has the to ability to adapt to meet service needs
