Confident Cook/Kitchen hand required for a fast-paced kitchen.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, creative and passionate individual to help us develop our business.

Applicants must be hard working, flexible and able to work during the week and weekends.

You will need to have a logical approach to things and not be afraid of hard work. You will be joining a wonderful team, where everyone contributes.

A cook/kitchen hand is responsible for ensuring our high standard of kitchen cleanliness are maintained; as well as being responsible for all aspects of food preparation; cooking with fryers, hot plate, and other kitchen equipment.

It is vital that you have a good knowledge of food health and safety standards and previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.

Here is a list of duties.

Measuring out meal ingredients according to a recipe.
Prepping various ingredients such as meats and vegetables.
Serving food to customers and staff.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including closing down every evening.
Maintaining record of stock and wastage.
Rotating stock items as per established procedures.
Ordering stock in preparation for the week ahead.
Washing dishes when required.
Waste removal.
Equipment Maintenance.
Ensuring a safe and positive environment.
Qualified in food and hygiene level 1 &
Physically Fit.
Have Ability to Work Quickly and Effectively, even when under pressure.
Ability to Follow Instructions.
Good Communication.
Passion for Food and excellent Customer Service.
