We are recruiting for
Gut Room Operatives in
Preston near Hull.

This is a
full-time role working 5 days per week, 9 hours per day.

You will need your own transport to arrive on time for the shift.

Duties will include:

Utilising your experience as a butcher with knife skills
Cleaning and stripping down offal into different animal biproduct categories.
Labelling accurately so that the correct product is placed in the relevant container to await collection by the appropriate waste/byproduct carrier.
Harvesting, processing and distribution of natural casings, meat products and pharmaceutical products.
Maintain clean working practices to prevent slips and trips and avoid crosscontamination.
Dealing with manure, animal stomachs and intestines.
Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
