When you join us, you will help deliver excellent support services which are both individualised and customer-led, promoting the wellbeing and support for our service users.


Peterborough Foyer / HRS offers accommodation and support for young people aged between 18 -25, either at risk of homelessness or currently are homeless.

Based centrally in Peterborough and within walking distance of local amenities / public transport, our Peterborough HRS service is now on the lookout for inspirational individuals who would like to give back to their community.


Our Project Worker opportunity is a fantastic chance to give back to our customers, helping them to develop budgeting / finance skills, life skills, moving towards independent living and supporting them to get their life back on track.

We are seeking a self-motivated, positive and strong minded individual to join our team of 10, including 4 other Project Workers.

This position is offered at 37 hours per week, working across a 7-day rota Monday - Sunday on a variety of shifts.

A brief overview of what you'll be doing in the Project Worker role is below:


  • Work with our customers to identify their needs and develop support programmes, delivering structured support
  • Working with individuals who may have complex longterm support needs, helping to reintegrate back into the community and developing key life skills
  • Support our customers to make the link between housing, training, and employment, helping to provide a steppingstone to independence
  • Enabling our customers to gain a sense of identity and confidence to help them to progress towards gaining further education, training and/or employment.
  • Multiagency working, referring into other services to help support our customers

Vetting Requirements
Naturally working with our customers we need to complete pre-employment checks before you join us. This role is conditional upon receipt of two satisfactory references (one from your current employer).

We also need you to tell us what you have been up to as a minimum over the past 5 years in terms of employment history.
