2 x Multi Skilled Operative (External Works)

Full Time (40 hours per week) based in Norwich, however travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required

Starting Salary of £30,201 with progression opportunities to £32,041 per annum

Plus, Company Vehicle and Call out payments

Permanent Contract

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for 2 x Multi Skilled Operatives to join our Planned Works Team.


Our External works Operatives will ensure that responsive repairs are carried out, providing a timely, efficient, and high standard of work to our properties.

Main trades of bricklaying, paving, fencing, and plastering along with other wet trades are required for this role. These are key roles in ensuring that our homes are maintained to a high standard and for us to provide an excellent service to our tenants, so if you want to help make a difference for our tenants, then this could be the job for you


The main focus of the role will be:

To be responsible for effective and efficient repairs to our homes, including fencing, paving, guttering, brickwork, groundworks, other external works etc.

(depending on trade / core skills) including damp and mould repairs in and around both void and occupied properties.

To support, when required with the responsive repairs and maintenance teams.

To help us provide an excellent service to our tenants, minimising call backs and maximising first time fixes.

About You


Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 or appropriate trade experience in at least 2 different trades relevant to external works.

A driving licence as travel throughout Norfolk and North Suffolk will be required.

Experience of working in Property Maintenance

Good IT, literacy and communication skills

A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently and problem solve.
