What is the job about?
We are looking for a finance assistant who is responsible for the day-to-day tasks in the financial department. They will also be responsible for ensuring that we have our bookkeeping in order for budgets.

A few of the main duties will be data entry into the system, preparing a balance sheet, updating financial records, and processing invoices.


What exactly will you do?

  • Create, send, and follow up on invoices.
  • Review and adhere to department budgets.
  • Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets.
  • Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
  • Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified.
  • Collect information for and prepare payroll payments for employees.
  • Adhere to the company's or organisation's financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure they comply with all company operating policies and procedures.

What we're looking for

  • Someone with incredible attention to detail to catch errors.
  • Top of the line math abilities
  • Great organizational skills
  • Amazing time management skills
  • Ability to follow company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Great knowledge of Excel and Excel functions
  • Good knowledge of accounting practices
  • Previous experience as a Finance Assistant, finance officer or similar role
