Acorn is recruiting for Warehouse Team Leaders to fulfil temporary-to-permanent vacancies on behalf of their client, located on Whitehouse Industrial Estate in Runcorn.

There are two roles available:

  • Sun 12pm 8:30pm, Mon
  • Thu 1pm 9:30pm


  • Sun

  • Thu 9pm 5:30am

Rate of pay:
£11.44 for afternoons - £12.48 for nights per hour

Applicants must have previous warehouse and supervisory experience along with excellent communication and it skills, the ability to effectively prioritise and manage workload and a positive can do attitude.


Main responsibilities:

  • Undertake all Warehouse Supervisory functions including goodsin, checking, putaway, replenishment, picking, marshalling, loading, and any other ancillary duties associated with these tasks
  • Manage the upkeep of any Mechanical Handling Equipment to company standards
  • To check equipment used daily and report faults to a Manager
  • The operation of any other ancillary equipment as required and trained to do
  • The movement, marshalling and sortation of all site loose equipment to include pallets, stillages and tote boxes
  • The operation of R.F equipment once trained and authorised to do so
  • To follow the principles of good hygiene and housekeeping whilst performing above duties and to supervise cleaning duties as required
  • To be alert to the security and safety of the stock and equipment in the warehouse and report any irregularities or problems to a manager
  • Ensure the integrity of our own and our customers property by following company security and search procedures
  • To assist in the counting of stock when required
  • Attend any training/development sessions when required as part of your own career/personal development
  • Ensure that Health, Safety and environmental policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Operate in accordance with company policy, procedures and legislative requirements
  • Any other duties as may be assigned to meet the varying needs of the business
