Description

We are looking to recruit a B4 Project Support Officer (for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave) to work within the Strategic Delivery Hub (SDH).

The post is a hybrid post covering both working from home as well as Trust Head Quarters.


The post-holder will work closely with the Programme Director, Transformation Manager and Programme Manager within the Transformation Team and other key stakeholders to help support delivery of the mental health transformation programme.

This programme focuses on the delivery of three key areas:

  • acute / crisis pathway, community services and older adult services.


This role requires the post holder to work autonomously within tight timescales and often without direct supervision from within the team.

It requires excellent organisational and project support skills and an ability to communicate routine, sensitive and complex information to staff and managers at all levels within the Trust, seeking compliance with project deadlines in a positive and engaging manner.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience of working within a project support role.


The post holder will be responsible for providing administrative and project support to the Programme Manager(s) in respect of specific service development work streams.

This will involve creating, maintaining and communicating a full range of project management documents It will also involve providing general project support, progress chasing and performance reporting.


  • Collating and co
- ordinating information and actions in respect of the various work streams, which will include complex facts and interdependencies;

  • To plan and organise the development of a range of complex activities including project plans, and collaborative events;
  • Responsible for creating, maintaining and communicating a full range of project management documents including project plans, risks and issues logs, meeting schedules, minute taking and actions using appropriate ICT tools and systems.
  • To collate and organise the recording of project related information to ensure timely and accessible retrieval;
  • To provide key stakeholders with the information needed to ensure that projects achieve their identified objectives;
  • To provide early warning of project risks and issues, considering potential solutions, taking corrective action as appropriate and/or escalating, when required;
  • Assess progress and work with the team to ensure accountability requirements are met and respond to any issues accordingly;
  • To be responsible for the servicing of designated meetings, including the preparation of agendas, supporting papers, minute taking, management of actions etc;
  • To undertake general administration duties as required including meeting arrangements and purchase ordering.
