MAIN PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE JOB


Legasea is a leading UK-based circular economy company that focuses on sustainable practices and innovative solutions to reduce waste and enhance the environment.

We are currently seeking a Facilities and Materials Co-Ordinator to join our team and contribute to our mission.

The Facilities and Materials Co-Ordinator is responsible for the overall management of the company's facilities and materials. This includes stock checks, goods-in, goods-out, facility maintenance, general repairs, and logistics.

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the inventory of all materials and supplies, including receiving, storing, and issuing.
  • Working with the purchasing department to identify materials to be procured.
  • Conduct regular stock checks to ensure that inventory levels are adequate and that materials are properly stored.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address any potential problems.
  • Coordinate with contractors to carry out repairs.
  • Manage the logistics of all materials and supplies.
  • Ensure that all materials and supplies are used efficiently and effectively.
  • Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • A proactive and selfmotivated approach, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience in warehousing, logistics or facilities management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Excellent organisational and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Inventory management.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team.
  • Good written & oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fastpaced environment.
  • Flexible with regards to working hours, Legasea is responsive to client's needs so overtime and weekend working may be required.
  • Passionate about the Circular Economy and reducing waste.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 37.5 per week


Salary:
£21,500.00-£29,500.00 per year
