- Salary of £26,750 £28,900 incl. London weighting (prorata)
- Parttime role (21.6 hours per week)
- Offer practical assistance and assess the requirements of apprentices with learning challenges or physical disabilities, promoting their independence, learning access, and workplace integration during "off the job training" and providing guidance for workplace growth
- Play a pivotal role in the student experience by fostering students' academic reasoning and study abilities through individual or group support sessions outside the classroom
- This position is ideal for an individual who is passionate about equality, diversity and inclusion you will be supporting a department that cares for students with SEND and disabilities
- Build strong student relationships, serve as a role model, address individual needs, and promote inclusive interactions while encouraging appropriate independence
A bit about you
- You will have experience of working with people with learning difficulties and/or disabilities including ASD, MLD, SLD and PMLD
- You will hold a Level 2 Certificate in Learning Support, Health & Social Care, Health Care or equivalent qualification
- You'll have a passion for helping students and young people achieve their best
