The role covers 30 Care homes in the Northwest and North of England. The company is on a fast-paced growth path and will add between five and eight new homes yearly.
The role is responsible for the Groups five-year strategy to become "Employer of Choice" in the social sector.
This is an interesting, dynamic and fast-paced environment. The job holder will require the strength of character needed to deliver against their remit for the business.

We're looking for someone with a hands-on, dedicated attitude to support the day-to-day operations team strong strategic, financial, and business knowledge.


Responsibilities:

Design and deliver a fit for purpose staff recruitment and retention strategy to implement in all care homes.
Work with internal stakeholders to support the compliance and logistics of international recruitment.

Identify the talent, roles and capabilities requires to deliver critical projects through the design and implementation of a talent review process.

Keep up to date with HR legislation.
Promote company values.
Manage employee engagement and internal communication activities, including employee surveys. Ensure appropriate follow-up activity take place based on survey findings.
Guide managers on disciplinary & grievance, as well as complex employee relations issues including redundancy and TUPE
Provide professional internal consultancy on best HR practice to all managers.

Regularly review and recommend continuous improvement to HR strategies, systems, policies and procedures to ensure they continue to reflect good practice.

Undertake projects supporting organisational development, including providing input to other projects where there are possible staff implications.
Ensure the HR budget is managed efficiently and effectively.
Exploring innovative solutions to drive the HR strategy and compliance of a growing organization.
Adhere to compliance policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience:
Experience in leading a HR function on a strategic and operational basis.
CIPD 7 qualified

Creating, organising and rolling out HR initiatives in areas including recruitment, induction, performance management, training and employee engagement and retention.

Experience in employee engagement activities, including employee communications, employee surveys and values development.
Experience in workforce planning against the business plan.
A capacity for leading and articulating change to all levels within
A firm commitment to diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
Strong HR operations background. Able to undertake any operational activity where the need arises.
Able to ensure the HR remit is kept front-of-mind across the organisation.
Strong influence, communication and change management skills, to ensure change takes place in an effective manner.
Proven stakeholder management skills, internal and external, at all levels within the company.
Excellent relationship building and communication skills.
Comfortable presenting to all levels across including the Board.
Able to produce HR proposals covering any topic in a persuasive, clear and succinct manner.
Proven experience in problem-solving and organizational management practices.
University degree or equivalent.
