We are currently seeking a Children Residential Support Workerfor our Children Home in Wakefield with great career development opportunities.

For experienced Children Residential Support Workers who are qualified to level 3 in Children may have an opportunity to enrol onto our Accelerated Registered Manager Programme where you have a fantastic opportunity to become a Senior Children Residential Support Worker or a Team Leader.
Opportunity to be enrolled onto a City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma In Management And Leadership In Health And Social Care for Children after completion of Level 3 young people workforce.
You will work as part of a team providing quality residential childcare services for children within a safe and secure environment.
About the job:
You will be key in helping the young people.
This is a challenging role, where no two days are the same, but the rewards are incomparable to any other job.
You will be working in an environment where the little things that you do every day could have life-changing results on the young people in our care and the staff team you lead.
Entry Requirements:
- Must be on DBS update.
- An NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent or working towards completion.
- Experience working with children / Young people in a Residential Childcare setting, for at least 6 months.
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others.
- Life skills
- Be caring, compassionate, understanding and show patience.
- Be a team player, flexible, honest and reliable.
- Have a good sense of humour and not take things personally.
- Be confident and resilient.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
- Computer literacy.
- A driving licence.
