Main duties of the job
research to complement our existing team. We are seeking a Divisional
Portfolio Administrator to support our clinical research portfolio in the
Cancer & Associated Specialities division. The Cancer & Associated
Specialties (CAS) Research team prides itself on delivering high quality
clinical research across Oncology, Haematology Oncology, Non-malignant
Haematology, Renal, Urology, Breast Surgery, Palliative Care, Burns &
Plastics and Thoracics. We have a large busy team working closely with
multidisciplinary teams to deliver trials and works in an embedded way with
frontline clinical staff. The portfolio of trials is large covering
commercial and non-commercial studies and we consider research as an
integral part of patient care and try to ensure that every patient is
offered a trial where appropriate.

Divisional Portfolio Manager proving administrative and data management
assistance to support the growth of our clinical research portfolio. A
comprehensive and supportive induction/ mentorship programme will be
offered.
Person specification
Training and Qualification
Essential criteria
- Educated to GCSE level standard (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.
- Qualification in IT/computing (i.e. NVQ, A level, BTEC or equivalent).
- Strong numerical skills.
Essential criteria
- Experience of information handling and analysis gained in a work environment.
- Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation with an understanding of Department of Health reporting processes.
- Experience of information management within the field of research.

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
