Description
As a Tally checker, you will be working based in a Port that moved and handles large containers situated in various sections of the site.
You will be required to work as part of the team, keeping track of lorries entering and exiting the port.
You will alsoneed to keep track of foot pedestrians entering and exiting the port, as well as directing drivers correctly to where they need to be.
As a Tally checker, you will also need to check all paper work for the containers are correct, and assist traffic marshallswith their role in health and safety.
Job Role:
Tally checkers
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights
Rates:
£10.31 per hour
Location:
SS17 9DY
Total hours per week: 42 hour per week
Role requirements:
- Communication must be to the highest standards
- Excellent customer service skills
- 5years of checkable work history
Skills needed:
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Physically fitness
- Enthusiastic in delivering service excellence
- Possess the ability to work under pressure
- Effective Communicator
- The ability to work independently or as a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
