We are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join our HR Team, based at our HQ in Rochdale, Kingsway Business Park.

The Role Overview:


The HR Assistant will provide fundamental support to the UK HR team and wider business, by ensuring the identified training and development opportunities are arranged and recorded accurately.


You will be actively involved in all aspects of HR, gaining responsibility and exposure throughout the team and wider business as your career develops.

Key Duties:


Learning and Development

  • Identify training and development needs from a variety of sources including, but not limited to, Annual Appraisals, Performance Issues and Training Matrix.
  • Record all training through various methods, e.g., training matrix.
  • Actively identify potential issues, e.g., expiring courses and available dates and liaise with relevant departments to minimise the impact on the business.

Recruitment

  • Support the recruitment process to ensure that the right people are recruited, within the agreed recruitment plan and timescales.
  • Conduct interviews to support the hiring manager(s) and support the decisionmaking process.
  • Assist with the prospective careers' fairs and recruitment sessions for Placement and Graduate Recruitment

Occupational Health

  • Coordinate health surveillance checks with staff in risk departments.
  • Ensure any issues are followed up with preemployment health questionnaires and health surveillance checks.
