A rare opportunity has arisen for Technical Sales Engineer to join a global organisation working within the Robotics industry.

As a Technical Sales Engineer you will provide Hydraulics expertise to support promotion, specification, production and aftersales support of hydraulic products and services.

Key Responsibilities as a Technical Sales and Support Engineer:

  • Technical Sales: Address customer provided requirements for branded products, identify the specific products to form the system and define the interfaces / fittings, hoses, QD's.
  • Draw VISIO configuration diagram to communicate the system design to the customer
  • Preparing system quotation from the above
  • Creating BOM in 123 for the system once sold
  • Supporting ROV sales teams and aftersales team with hydraulic expertise
  • Technical support to internal production and external customers
  • Developing strong long term relationships with clients/customers
  • Attending customer meetings internally or at client sites as required
  • Assisting with customer complaints. Ensuring the they're dealt with in a timely and effective manner.

Skills/Knowledge Required as a Technical Sales and Support Engineer:

  • Strong Hydraulic understanding (Systems, pumps, valves, motors, sealing methods, hoses, fittings, adapters)
  • Able to read and understand hydraulic schematics
  • Technical sales experience
