Macildowie are delighted to be working in partnership with
Jessup Brothers LTDto appoint a Subcontract Ledger Manager to join their fast-paced, dynamic organisation.

They are based in
Cannock - WS11 0EJ.

Jessup Brothers Ltd has recently secured private equity investment from Palatine and is now entering an exciting period of growth. The organisation is focused on developing both the business and its staff for the journey ahead. With thisin mind the finance department is looking to enhance its team with a motivated and "can do" individual.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday. Great base salary package of between £25,000 - £35,000, 25 days holiday + BH and 5% - 10% annual bonus.
The office is going through a full refurb, its incredible atmosphere work in with a great team around you.

Essentially this role is a stand alone role overseeing the subcontract ledger and assisting with the accounts payable ledger however you will be workingalongside the accounts manager and the Financial controller who will both support you.

Key duties and responsibilities will include;

A strong communicator who is deadline focused and passionate paying our suppliers accurately and on time.
A friendly and proactive team player who will compliment our current Finance team
Somebody who enjoys a challenge and is willing to tackle new tasks
An eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
Previous experience of working on a subcontract ledger is essential, with a good working knowledge of CIS and domestic reverse charge VAT rules.
Managing a subcontractor ledger that has a monthly payment value of circa £2.5m.
Liaising with key suppliers and our Commercial team to ensure invoices are received, entered onto the system, taxed correctly and then paid to our subcontract supply chain.
