About the Role and Person

Key responsibilities and requirements are outlined within the job description, but to summarise:

The Business Assurance team supports Accent's Board, Executive and colleagues to ensure great governance, risk management and assurance across all areas of the business.

The Risk Lead is a new role in the team, reporting to the Head of Regulation and Assurance.

As Risk Lead you will support the organisation in all aspects of risk management including working with the leadership team on strategic and operational risk management, emergency planning, fraud prevention and anti-money laundering activity.

You will line manage the Insurance Manager and a new role of Data Compliance Officer.

Your core role and focus, as part of the business assurance team, is to provide risk management leadership to the wider business and support to Accent's Audit & Risk Committee and senior leadership.

This is a critical governance, risk and control role that supports Accent to achieve its strategic objectives.

Location


We'll provide you with the equipment and software that you'll need for the purpose of your role however it will be your responsibility to have an appropriate space to work from as well as a suitable broadband connection/provider.


Salary


The spot salary for this post is £50,000 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post.

Applicants, who do not meet all of the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary.
