Our client is seeking a highly effective salesperson to join their team in the fast-growing HR tech and transformation arena, helping to drive revenue across the portfolio.

Savvy Media are working with a leading events business in the HR/L&D space to find a dedicated Account Manager driving new business and expanding upon existing accounts to deliver on event services and sponsorship sales, hitting and exceeding targets.

Youwill have a defined patch of accounts and new business targets, selling solutions across the whole portfolio of commercial digital and event products.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling event sponsorship and digital products to decision makers within human resources tech providers across the globe.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets consistently.
  • Create a sales plan for the designated sales territory; working autonomously to monitor and understand the buyer and vendor marketplace to best spot opportunities.
  • Plan and execute customer coverage to maximise sales revenue, including facetoface meetings, sales trips, and attendance at relevant industry events
  • Conduct targeted market research, through competitive media, events and digital communications, so you can fully understand our universe and competitive landscape.
  • Using a handson approach in creating brand exposure and driving new business through inperson; phone; and virtual meetings
  • Write great proposals, using the available internal sales resources and the information gathered through client research and interaction.
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times, ensure you are in regular communication with your key clients.
  • Maximize conversion rates through worldclass pipeline creation, development and closing
  • Optimize client retention rates in a timely fashion.
  • Identify and source highvalue, new business opportunities.
  • Ensure excellent use of Salesforce to support revenue forecasting across the business.
  • Hit KPIs and SMART objectives.
  • Collaborate with the commercial content, marketing and client success teams to ensure all tasks relating to product delivery are met to maximize client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Consultative, client centric approach to sales.
  • Minimum four years of selling event sponsorship and/or media products in a B2B environment. Strong background in portfolio selling and managing multiple projects at the same time is
    essential.
  • An understanding of the HR tech, Recruitment or L&D industry, with a strong network (ideal)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with strong English language skills.
  • Persuasive and confident.
  • Proven track record of success identifying and securing new business.
  • Creative and solutionsfocused person.
  • Strong proposal writing skills and attention to detail.
  • Takes KPIs and targets seriously and is driven to achieve.
  • Great organisational skills working efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Resilience, adaptability and open to change.
  • A selfstarter with a 'can do' attitude and a passion to succeed.
  • Business acumen and strong commercial awareness.
