We are looking for a passionate Receptionist to join our vibrant team at The Lancaster Hotel and Spa, who can confidently deliver exceptional service to guests.

At the same time, our Receptionist will have the service knowledge and skills to support the team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

You will have a real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships with guests.


As a Receptionist you will be responsible for creating a warm and friendly welcome to our guests at arrival, ensuring their stay is comfortable and pleasant.

You will ensure seamless checking-in and departure of the hotel by learning about our guests and creating a personalised service.

As a Receptionist you will also be checking reservation details, upselling and maximising revenue, and promoting our hotel outlets and services at all times.

You will be also responsible for an allocated float and handling cash.


The Main duties & responsibilities include welcoming all guests and answering internal and external phone calls according to SOP and hotel service guidelines, exceptional service standards, great attention to detail and ability to deliver warmth, charm and hospitality in every aspect of the role.

Excellent telephone manner, with a strong command of the English language are essential and previous experience using Opera PMS will be an advantage.

Overall you will have bags of personality, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
