NLB Solutions are working with a business in Hemel Hempstead that need a new accounts assistant on a part time basis.
The role is to work 3 or 4 full days to support the finance manager in dealing with the Purchase and Sales Ledger duties.
The team consistsof a credit controller, an existing accounts assistant and an apprentice that all report into the finance manager.
The volumes have increased hence the need to bring in new resource to manage the additional workload.The business have an excellent manager that mentors and helps to get the most from the team. Having been in the office on a full time basis, this role is also going to be office based. With parking and a really nice feel to the office, this team will definatelysupport the new team member.
Duties:
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Input invoices
- Posting Direct Debit payments
- Posing invoices/credit notes
- Issuing Purchase Orders
- Filing of paperwork
- Upload new customer forms
- Posting cash
- Customer credit checks
- Closing and maintaining old accounts
Person spec:
- Experience in both purchase and sales ledger
- Good communications skills
- Good IT skills
- Ability to be flexible
