Project Manager.

Our Client is looking for someone to be responsible for the execution and successful delivery of projects as allocated by the Change Portfolio Board.

Develop, plan and coordinate resources, produce papers and reports for board and committees, maintain stakeholderengagement and the project communication approach.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Has the authority to run the project on a daytoday basis on behalf of the Project Board within the constraints laid down by them.
  • Has primary responsibility for ensuring that the project produces the required products within the specified tolerances of time, cost, quality whilst managing the scope and risk to achieve the benefits.
  • Be able to demonstrate compliance with corporate project management, governance, financial and procurement requirements in line with the Project Procedure and Gateway Approval Processes.
  • Where necessary, facilitate the startup activity of projects to define scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Prepare baseline management products in conjunction with Project Assurance which are agreed by the board including the project brief, plans and authorisation of work packages.
  • Prepare project reports as required including highlight, issue and end project.

Requirements:


  • Recognised and current qualification in Project methodologies to practitioner level.
  • Experience and certifications in any of the following (or other recognised accreditation in the same field) are highly desirable: Managing Successful Programmes (MSP) Management of Risk (M_o_R); Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
  • Experience of working with senior management and stakeholders in large organisations including planning and facilitating stakeholder engagement, collecting and analysing feedback and keeping stakeholders informed of results.
  • Experience of managing concurrent projects including the effective planning and management of project staff and other resources.
  • The use of creative problem solving techniques to identify options and solutions within a project environment.
  • Experience of detailed project planning and RAID management.
  • Experienced in monitoring projects, compiling accurate, concise records and writing reports suitable for a range of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Proven experience in managing and organising a busy workload.
