Are you an experienced administrator within the Renewable Energy sector looking for a new challenge?
Project Better Energy are currently recruiting for a Project Administrator to join our Commercial Solar team in Stockport, Greater Manchester. This is a permanent, full time role working 37.5 hours per week
PBE Commercial Solar design, install, commission and maintain commercial, industrial and large-scale solar PV installations.
Supplying renewable energy from solar power plants enables renewable energy suppliers, businesses, and public sector organisations to reduce costs and their carbon footprint and generate power into the national grid.
Our growing pipeline of projects include Ground and Roof Mounted solutions, as well as Car Port Solar installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
Overview
This is a dynamic and varied role within the commercial solar team.
You will be assisting the Project Managers with administrative tasks relating to large-scale Solar Photovoltaic installations within the commercial sector.
Liaising with clients, stakeholders, network operators and colleagues you will offer first-class support to help deliver world-class renewable energy installations in the commercial sectorKey responsibilities
- Working directly with project managers, executing a variety of project management administrative tasks
- Liaising with sales and design team
- Tracking DNO and Planning Milestones
- Compile project handover packs
- Liaising with the relevant contractors
- Sending project updates and designs to clients
- Support Accounts with stage payment milestone invoices.
Skills
- Strong Administrative background within renewables industry, preferably solar
- Experience of using Microsoft Office
- Understanding of basic solar PV system
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self motivated with a "cando," resilient attitude
- Strong communication and relationshipbuilding skills
- Willingness to learn
Salary & Benefits

£23,000 - £25,000 based on experience
- 20 holidays per year plus bank holidays (each full calendar year of service adds an extra holiday up to 5 additional days
