International Travel & Events Coordinator, covering a 9-Month Contract, Part-Time Hours, Remote Working, joining an International Children's Welfare Charity.

Do you have direct experience of arranging complex international travel schedules and booking trips for multiple travellers and individuals and looking for a Part-Time role?

  • 9month Contract.
  • Flexible working hours, home based, anywhere in the UK
  • Part-Time; 21 hours per week.
  • Full-Time salary; £ £30000. For 21 hours a week the salary is between £16,200 £18,000 pa
As the International Travel & Events Coordinator, reporting to the Head of Global HR & Operations, you will provide a central resource for the Secretariat, supporting colleagues, board trustees and members, with all UK and International travel related administration for events and meetings


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support colleagues with all aspects of international travel administration; sourcing and booking flights, transfers and accommodation, liaise with the travel company/agents.
  • Ensure travel insurance is maintained, liaising with insurance brokers.
  • Ensure staff understand and comply with travel policies and procedures.
  • Manage relationships with the travel security support providers, ensuring travel security procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Support colleagues with all aspects of arranging events and meetings including:
  • Researching countries/locations for meetings, comparing visa requirements, costs of flights/hotels and security considerations
  • Researching venues and to support the Travel Authoriser/Event Manager in making a decision on the venue selection
  • Acting as the first point of contact with the venue, reviewing schedules
  • Arranging catering requirements, arranging equipment, interpretation/translation
We are looking for you to have direct experience of;

  • Arranging complex international travel schedules and booking trips for multiple travellers and individuals.
  • Experience of supporting safe travel to locations that are deemed to have security
  • Direct experience of remotely making arrangements for large events in different Strong administration experience including supporting invoice/expense processing.
  • Experience of working remotely and with remoteworking colleagues and of working as part of an international culturally diverse team.
