This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week - Monday to Friday.

Role Purpose:
- To support and advise the Hospital teams on all Health and Safety matters, promoting a strong Health and Safety culture throughout the Hospitals.
Core Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- To advise and assist the Senior Management Teams (SMT), interpret and meet obligations under applicable Health & Safety Acts, regulations and guidance.
- To support and advise the Hospital teams on all Health and Safety matters, promoting a strong Health and Safety culture throughout the Hospitals.
- To support the Hospital in demonstrating an appropriate level of compliance with relevant health and safety standards to our regulators i.e., the CQC, HSE, EA, local government agents and interested parties.
- To advise on the governance and adherence to COSHH regulation.
- To champion environmental waste management, continually improving performance.
- Adherence to Health and Safety policies.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

You must have a valid driving licence and your own transport
:
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Ability to deliver fire safety training
- Ability to interpret relevant health and safety legislation, Approved Codes of Practice and guidance and to advice managers on a range of health and safety matters.
- Risk Assessor experience
- RCA / Incident investigation skill
- Contractor Management skills
- Experience undertaking audits
- Good IT skills
- Knowledge of Environmental legislation and standards
