We are seeking highly skilled and motivated to join our Consultant team.Providing high quality Diagnostic clinical reports, advice and opinion on all patient types from all referrers into the service.
Being proactive in supporting pathways which ensure that all patients receive rapid assessment, treatment and clinical decision making, whilst ensuring our standard to deliver safe quality and performance are delivered and sustained.
To provide Consultant delivered care to patients, including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are provided to all patients attending the hospital for diagnostics and radiology procedures.
- Interventional Radiology
- Breast Radiology
- Nuclear Medicine/PET CT (ideally as an ARSAC licence holder)
- To support the delivery of Radiology services in Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust.
- To be part of the Radiology oncall rosters, supported by Radiology Registrars.
- To assist the development of innovative ways to deliver services.
- To support training activities for Radiology Trainees and Medical student.
- There will be an opportunity of developing a subspecialty interest that complements the service

There is a well-established Radiology Department, currently consisting of 19.5 WTE substantive consultants.his is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of a dynamic Department within a forward-looking secondary care Foundation Trust.
