Job Overview:
To increase recycling and reduce waste by communicating with the residents of Conwy. To respond to service requests for new or replacement recycling containers


Duties:


  • Responsible for all aspects of recycling and waste minimisation performance in an assigned community area.
  • Visit nonparticipating householders to provide advice and information on recycling.
  • Participate in the implementation of new schemes through the distribution of information literature and recycling containers.
  • Advise the general public and other interested bodies on recycling and waste minimisation in writing, in person or by telephone.
  • Respond to service requests for new or replacement recycling containers.

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Pay:
£12.38 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Knowledge of of sustainable waste management, recycling: 1 year (required)

Language:


  • English and Welsh (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • UK Driving Licence (required)
  • DBS (required)
