Job description


A Housekeeper is required to work for a lovely family in Cowbridge, close to Cardiff (CF71) with two children, aged 15 years and 17 years.


Start Date:

ASAP

Salary:
£16 gross per hour, employed.


Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hrs/week : 3 days: 8am

  • 5pm + other 2 days: 8am 2pm & 57pm, to help with after school (occasional weekends with time off in lieu)

Duties:


  • Housekeeping.
  • Washing & ironing.
  • Putting shopping away.
  • Food preparation & healthy family cooking/lunches.
  • Walk & take care of the dogs (& horses if interested).
  • Tidy house inside & outside areas
  • Take children to after school activities/trips to physiotherapy.
  • Organising.
  • House sit/pet.

You must:


  • Hold a current DBS or be willing to undertake one.
  • Be child friendly.
  • Be a driver with your own car.
  • Happy to work in a rural location.
  • Be able to cook & follow recipes.
  • Must like dogs/pet friendly/horses.
  • Have a flexible attitude.
  • Be able to stay the night occasionally.
  • Have a happy & smiley disposition.
  • Be proactive & healthy/fit & energetic.
  • Respect family privacy.
  • Be okay with light gardening.
Non-smoking work environment.
