College of Science and Engineering / School of Geosciences

Full time (35 hours per week)

Fixed term (until 31 March 2026)
We are looking for a SCADR Administrative Support Officer to join our small core support team.


The Opportunity:

This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns.

We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Previous experience of working in a busy team environment, ideally within Higher Education Institution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of finance (including purchasing and invoicing) and monitoring budgets, ideally Oraclebased systems.
  • Organise and prioritise own workload in response to daily and weekly demands within overall agreed priorities.
