Description

Do you enjoy supporting students, newly qualified social workers or colleagues? Would you like to support the progression and development of the future generations of Social workers? If yes; then this is the role for you.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our affluent Practice Academy as a Senior Practitioner in Education to work alongside Social Workers in practice to support them with their continued professional development.

Our work supports Social Workers to deliver the best practice they can to children and families while consistently growing their own professional progression.

Providing a lead role in improving the quality of professional social work practice across the breadth of the case work cycle to children, young people and their families, you will be based in the Practice Academy.

The role will entail working with, supporting and encouraging development of a range of learners on programmes such as ASYE, Social Work Apprenticeships, Return to Social work and Students.

You will be working with learners and have opportunity to lead in an element of the developmental pathway for social work across the Trust.

Using your significant experience, you will be able to share your professional knowledge, wisdom and passion in role modelling good practice to motivate and inspire others.

You will hold an approved social work qualification, SWE registration as well as the Practice Educators' Award level 2.

Having an experience of social workers in learning would be beneficial and a keen interest in growing the future generations of social work.

Hybrid model of working in practice.
