Hours: 8:30am until 5pm (Monday to Friday)

£23,000 to £28,000

Polytec are looking for a Mechanical Assembler for our Saffron Walden based client.


Responsibilities:


  • Mechanical assembly, following detailed manufacturing method files
  • Ensure necessary quality and performance checks / tests are carried out
  • Complete process documentation
  • Support trouble shooting of any issues with components or assembled products
  • Assist with management of assembly, testing procedures and documents
  • Check product subcomponents
  • Assist in testing of existing and new products for QA, troubleshooting etc

Requirements:


  • At least a year's working experience in a mechanical assembly environment
  • Strong practical skills, able to carry out complex assembly tasks
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • IT literate, competent with MS Office
