What you'll be doing:

To be a Commercial Underwriting Assistant in the Mid-market segment requires a high degree of determination as you assist our Underwriters to deliver to planned objectives.

This team offers the opportunity to experience the most bespoke area of commercial underwriting. Mid-market is a target area for all insurers and is therefore, highly competitive.

Strong numerical reasoning skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines are met
Some technical underwriting experience in a composite insurance environment is preferable but not essential
An understanding of the commercial insurance market
A desire to study towards professional qualification

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
