Network Plus is now one of the UK's leading utility and infrastructure providers, with offices and depots stretching from Carlisle to the South coast.
Core services include repair, maintenance, construction and installation of utility and infrastructure assets. We provide traffic management through our sister businesses; Go Traffic Management and Capital Traffic Management. Vegetation management and tree cutting activities are provided through EOS Contracting.

Our Role
As a Trainee Utilities Planner, you will be trained in all aspects of the planning & streetworks for all works before they commence on site.
You will learn all the processes, procedures and systems that we use to plan and schedule work for our contracts.
In this role, you will eventually be responsible for ensuring that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates.
As well as making sure we are compliant with NRSWA and ensure that timescales are adhered to minimising any financial impact to the company.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
- Coordinate the work from receipt, through to job completion
- To schedule work, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity
- To maintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems (full training will be given on these systems), ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated
Experience and Qualifications
- This is an entry level role therefore we do not require any previous experience
- Experience in Customer Service or Coordinator roles will give you a lot of transferable skills
- We look for great communication skills, a natural ability to plan and organise, good administration skills and the resilience to work under time pressures
