  • To assist the Senior Species and Recording Officer with the delivery of, and reporting on, wildlife monitoring activities at Rutland Water Nature Reserve.

    To maintain and help to develop the Rutland Water GIS database for species and habitat management recording.

Assistant Species and Recording Officer (Survey and GIS)


Responsible to:
Senior Species and Recording Officer


Purpose of post:

To assist the Senior Species and Recording Officer with the delivery of, and reporting on, wildlife monitoring activities at Rutland Water Nature Reserve.

To maintain and help to develop the Rutland Water GIS database for species and habitat management recording.


Employment term:
Full Time (Permanent)


Hours of work: 35 per week, flexible working to include early mornings, evenings and weekends; time off in lieu is given.
