EMBS Engineering are working in partnership with a leading global precision manufacturer who supply complex components to the Aerospace, Defence and Power industries.

Due to recent fast paced growth of the business, our client is looking for am Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their Quality team.

As an Aerospace Quality Inspector, you will;

  • Ensure that Inspection tasks are carried out as defined by the Job Card narrative, work instruction or customer drawing
  • Carry out 1st off, 100% visual and dimensional inspection, receipt inspection and CEO where required
  • Ensure any nonconforming parts are sentenced in accordance with the nonconformance process and key information is provided by Shop Floor personnel
  • Work as part of a team with colleagues to maximise factory efficiency

What experience do you need?

  • Strong Quality Inspection experience
  • Worked within precision engineering / advanced manufacturing environments
  • Inspected parts which have been supplied into the aerospace industry advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to perform first off, 100% visual and dimensional inspection, receipt inspection and CEO where required
  • Confidence using manual measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of geometric tolerances
  • Understanding of CMM
