This well established Surrey firm of Accountants currently have a rare opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their firm.

You will join a friendly team of professional accountants and report directly to the Partners. This is a modern Practice, with cloud based systems, that offers a hybrid working arrangement.

The role will be varied, with lots of direct client interaction. You will help to manage a wide portfolio of predominantly local SME businesses, providing timely and accurate accounting information. Applications are welcome from experienced Accountants /Bookkeepers. This position would suit an AAT Qualified, perhaps an ACCA studier or a QBE / non studier.

The main duties will cover all aspects of day to day Bookkeeping, including:

Statutory Accounts preparation
Monthly and quarterly management accounts production
VAT returns
Ledger maintenance
Bank reconciliations
Adhoc financial reporting

Previous experience of working for an accounting practice will be essential. Knowledge of Sage, Xero or QuickBooks will be advantageous.
