Contract to start until with a possible extension.About the role
The role-holder will take the lead on commissioning across a series of integrated mental health programmes.
This will include the development of a vibrant local mental health partnership across the NHS, Local Authority, Voluntary and Community Sector and residents in delivering the Community Mental Health Framework and other aligned local and national strategies.
Client's mental health system has developed stronger partnerships than ever in responding to Covid-19 and we are looking for someone who can help develop this further, retaining a focus on coproduction and the resident voice throughout, whilst navigating the opportunities and challenges brought about by the move to Integrated Care Systems and a reframing of our local borough prioritiesAbout you
The skills, knowledge and experience include:
Extensive experience and knowledge of commissioning in an NHS and/or Local Authority environment.
Flexible and able to work on several projects concurrently, the ability to prioritise and organise workload and maintain pace across different work streams.
Ability to lead and to work collaboratively with a range of people including residents, providers and senior managers in a complex multi-agency environment.
Ability to use IT systems and conventional systems to manage statistical information and to produce reports for others.
Evidence of a commitment to, and an understanding of, diversity and equal opportunities issues and how to implement in practice.
Experience and skills for writing and presenting policy and strategy to inform others about relevant issues and recommend appropriate future action.
Experience and evidenced based skills for successful project management and delivery of agreed outcomes and improved performance within specified timescales.
Ability to lead and to work collaboratively with a range of people including residents, providers and senior managers in a complex multi-agency environment.
