We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Tutor to join our team in Hebburn, South Tyneside.

As a 121 Tutor, you will play a crucial role in providing personalised academic support to students in maths and English up to GCSE level.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working closely with students to help them achieve their full potential.


Responsibilities:


  • Delivering highquality onetoone tuition sessions in maths and English, tailored to meet the individual needs of each student.
  • Creating engaging and effective lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and exam board requirements.
  • Assessing students' strengths and areas for improvement, and providing constructive feedback to promote continuous progress.
  • Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of tuition sessions, including attendance and student performance.

Requirements:


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or HLTA certification is essential.
  • Previous experience in onetoone tutoring or small group teaching is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
  • Flexibility to work either 5 days or 3 days per week, based on availability.
  • Availability to deliver between 46 hours of tuition per day.
  • Familiarity with the national curriculum and GCSE exam board requirements.
  • Passionate about education and committed to supporting students' academic growth.
