What you'll be doing:
- Attend morning Maintenance Control DSUM with Team Leaders, to brief on support equipment issues and understand GSE/Tooling requirements for our operations
- Liaise with RAF Lossiemouth Sections, GEF/Sqn Tool Stores/TMF Coningsby Tool Stores to arrange any equipment loans to support our requirements
- Manage the Tool Stores, ensuring full compliance with Part 145 procedures; regularly collaborate with the Hangar Support Lead at RAF Coningsby to ensure best practice in hangar support and tool control across both Main Operating Bases (MOBs)
- Responsible for Maintenance Support Area Oversight Checks
- RAF JAMES Systems Operator to ensure checking of serviceability/status of all assigned GSE to our Facility
- Management of our FLAM (Flammable Product Storage) Vaults and FLAP (Fuel Lubricant and Petroleum Products)
- Responsible for the supervision of floor cleaning, driving duties, infrastructure issues and SHE Plan Coordinator oversight
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Proven supervisory experience
- Good knowledge of SHE policies and Procedures and risk assessments
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
- Inventory management experience
- Proficient IT skills, including MS Office Suite
- Team management skills

***The Typhoon Support Flight (TSF) North Team:Typhoon Support Flight (North), TSF(N), is a dynamic team of professional aircraft maintenance professionals working in direct support of the RAF Flying Sqns' maintenance teams, and also undertaking complex maintenance tasks on behalf of BAE SYSTEMS under our maintenance approvals.
The Team works from our dedicated maintenance facility at RAF Lossiemouth, but is regularly called upon to work alongside their RAF colleagues within the fast jet sqns' own maintenance facilities.
The Team can be called upon for a wide and diverse range of tasks, including direct support to the daily flying programme; in-depth maintenance tasks and repairs; embodiment of complex modifications and upgrades; and preparation of aircraft to meet operational tasks and training exercises.
TSF(N) presents BAE SYSTEMS and the RAF with significant opportunity for the continued support to the Typhoon aircraft, with the potential to undertake further complex maintenance tasks and modifications embodiment to better support to the RAF's front-line commitments in future years.
