Description

You will provide midwifery advice, support and care to women and their families during the preconceptual, antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods, in a range of environments, including clinics, birth centres and within the client's home.


In addition you will responsible for the provision of a full range of health, education and social care advice to women within an integrated model of care covering pre-conception, antenatal, labour, birth and postnatal periods.

You will be joining a service with one of the highest home birth rates in Wales, a high physiological birth rate and the highest breastfeeding rate in Wales.

You will be supporting women choosing to birth at one of our 6 free standing birth centres.

You will provide and coordinate antenatal and postnatal care for both midwife led care and consultant led women.


As a service, we are passionate about supporting midwives ongoing professional development and the opportunity to access an award winning training during your employment.

The ability to speak Welsh for this post is desirable; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
