Description

Our rehabilitation pathways within an inpatient area. You will have previous experience of working at a Specialist Physiotherapist (Band 6) level. Experience of working within Mental Health services is desirable although not essential. You will be expected to have knowledge and understanding of Mental Health conditions such as dementia and bipolar disorder.

The post holder will manage a caseload of patients and provide a fully comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis and treatment, manage onward referral to support hospital discharges and ensure the delivery of safe and effective clinical practice.

You will be responsible for the supervision of junior staff members and Physiotherapy health care support workers. You will supervise and teach students on placement.

You will be expected to contribute to the development of services, implement service changes and act as a specialist resource.
