About Us:

This post would be working in the Council's Highways Maintenance team, alongside other Technicians looking after the highway road network.
- This role may be available as a development opportunity through secondment for the Council's existing employees. The Council's Secondment Scheme can be found here. If this option is of interest, please contact the recruiting manager.
About the Role:
- The post would work with a team looking after the road network, each covering around 220 streets. Duties include carrying out routine inspections for potholes and trip hazards, investigating concerns raised to the council, liaising with residents and contractors, and supporting the repairs/resurfacing of defects.
You would be tasked with fulfilling the duties for your area, in accordance with legislation and the council's policies, whilst able to manage your own time to achieve them.
