Page Personnel are currently seeking an experienced
Administrator to join an NHS body based in the Cardiff area on a temporary, ongoing position.


This is an excellent opportunity to build on previous Administrative experience with a possibility of a long-term career with the NHS.

Working hours for the role will be Monday to Friday office based.


Client Details


The role be working closely with a friendly NHS team based in Cardiff area providing support for Health Protection across Wales.


Description


You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the administrative and diagnostic services of the department.


Key responsibilities of the Administrator include:

  • Assisting and aiding a training manager to prepare new employees for the job in the organisation
  • Respond to enquiries from service users to provide information in line with agreed protocols and procedures
  • Provide administrative support in the event of an outbreak/ emergency.
  • Contributes to the maintenance of a safe working environment, work in a safe manner and maintain standards of conduct and working practice in accordance with corporate and Health & Safety policies.

Profile

The successful Administrator will have:


  • Good understanding and knowledge of a full range of administrative procedures and organisational procedures.
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience and knowledge in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Experience in the use of information systems
  • Advanced keyboard skills and knowledge of telephony/transcription systems and general office equipment.
  • Highly organised and have the ability to work to deadlines
