Senior Payroll Officer (HRP402)

Grade G (SCP £27,852 - £31,099 per annum, pro rata

22.5 hours a week (to be worked flexibly)

Fixed term contract - 6 months
Are you an experienced payroll professional?

A vacancy has arisen at Stafford Borough Council for an experienced payroll professional to join our busy dedicated team in delivering a high quality service to both the Council and our Shared Service partners.

Experience of integrated HR/Payroll systems and of working in a service led environment is key to this role as is a diploma in Payroll Management or equivalent, knowledge of recent changes in legislation, and a commitment to service improvement.

You will have experience of the delivering a payroll from end to end, including year-end processing and statutory requirements.

With a shared priority for quality customer service, you will also be an effective communicator, committed team player and take a flexible and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
