Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service: Greet employees and visitors in a friendly manner, providing assistance, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
Food Preparation: Assist with basic food preparation, such as slicing vegetables, assembling sandwiches, and preparing simple dishes, following established recipes and guidelines.
Food Service: Help in serving meals, snacks, and beverages to staff members, ensuring portion control, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained.
Cashier Duties: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, operating the cash register and processing payments from customers.
Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the canteen area, including tables, chairs, serving counters, and other equipment. Regularly clean dishes, utensils, and food service areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
Stock Management: Assist in monitoring and restocking food items, beverages, condiments, and other supplies to ensure availability throughout operating hours.
Compliance: Adhere to food safety and health regulations, ensuring that all procedures and guidelines are followed at all times.
Waste Management: Help with the proper disposal of waste, including food waste and recyclable materials, in an ecofriendly manner.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other canteen staff, such as cooks, chefs, and kitchen assistants, to ensure efficient operations and a smooth workflow.
Ad hoc Duties: Support the canteen management with any other relevant tasks or responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

Previous experience in day shift roles, preferably in events, hospitality, or related fields.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guests and team members effectively.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile to exceed expectations.
Right to work in the UK
